Took my flight and came back to my normal (if i can call it this way) life!! Even if it’s gonna be for less than two months!
I still have to organize many things such as Visas, booking at least a few night in the places I’ll go, think of what to put in my backpack..and other stuff!
But let’s continue with my trip..
After Kaunas, (where now I can say I had the best time, and I’m sorry for the people from all the other places I saw!! Doesn’t mean I didn’t like the other places..it just was all perfect!! Met two awesome girls who hosted me as a prince!!had great night life, saw the city and other parts of it, and, I don’t forget, the home of BASKETBALL!!!!) my bus went on direction Riga in Latvjia, and when I just arrived to one of the best hostels ever (NAUGHTY SQUIRREL), I don’t know what passed in my crazy mind and I decided to Bungee jump the same night I arrived!! I was totally freaking out!! I jumped with the best couple in the world (Shane and Shantelle..Oh what a great time we passed together..but not in Riga..In TALLINN!!!) and some Danish guys that where very cool! Really can’t say what passed in my mind when I jumped..totally scared I’d say!!but it was great!!
I met some nice people at the hostel, with which we hanged out the night after, all guys and Ines (I’m still shocked you added me on fb!!).
After Riga I went for one night in Tartu, University city in the mid-south of Estonia! Kroot hosted me for a night..she had to hand in her essay the same day I arrived, so at night let’s say we made a nice bar tour and continued drinking until 4 in the morning!!
And afterword, Tallinn, where I met Selene just 15 minutes after I arrived!! I have met her in Lugano one day when my friends and I where hanging out together, and I asked her I she wanted to join us! We found out she is Estonian, so exchanged mails and there we were, again, but in her city. She took me out for dinner (so strange, after 2 weeks without riding a car, that a girl comes and picks me up and she chooses the place!!!) and we had I very nice evening! Discovered many things of each other!
The day after Giova arrived!! We went around the city and hanged out with Shane and Shantelle. Drinking beer and going dancing, and finding myself on the stage of the disco (Hollywood) dancing and moving around thinking of no one!! (Pakistan Pakistan..Reas e Giova..se state leggendo capirete!!!!)
The day after Selene took me and Giova on the beach and out lunch (Thank you), gave us a very good alcohol cream, and I gave her a copy of my favorite book, the little Prince, but I’m still waiting for an answer of what she thinks about it!! ;)
In the Evening we saw the game Italy vs Estonia, and we were the only Italian!! And drinking and dancing all night..again!!!
The day after we went back to Riga, beautiful 28°C day (like let’s say all the time I passed around!!), walk in the city, knew Liga at the park, and two Italian girls at the hostel which one of them came out with us at night, plus two Aussies, and not normal ones!! Cause I’m gonna meet them tomorrow in ERA DI SAMOLACO (close to my house in the mountains!) the fact is that I would never imagine to know an Australian who’s gran pa e ma are from the place I usually go out with my friends!!
The day after we met Chriss and Joel (the two aussies) in Vilnius, our last city and last night before coming back home..! Nice city with nice views..and one thing I will not forget is that the main club of the city is calle SALENTO, and behind the bar there is a scarf with written on: “FROZA LECCE, la squadra più bella del mondo!”..AMAZING!!!!!!!!
And so..how was my trip..let’s say great..from all points of view!!
First of all I tested myself of the way of living day by day, and I think I managed quit ok!!(especially in money spending!!!)
My first experience of couch surfing was better than I expected (and I have to thank you all that hosted me!)
And I met lots of people, some that I will hardly forget, some that maybe I’ll see one day around!
So this is all..hope the next will be as good!!!
