After Warsaw, and the never lasting train journey to the north region on the Baltic Sea, i finally arrived in Gdansk, very beautiful sea side city, full of green, nice old town, and connected quite well with Sopot and Gdynia.
I had a so good host, Dagmara, who let me sleep at her's, and she showed me some parts of the city (have to go to the park near the UNI!!)..and we talked a lot of quite everything!!
After a couple of nights i left for Lithuania, and my first stop was Kaunas, home of basketball!!!! ;)
I stayed with Liz and Erika, really 2 wonderful girls! they treated me so good!!Liz woke up at 5 am to open me cause my bus arrived so early! The showed me around the city, with long walks (and that was not the problem, i can walk for hours..but not at that speed!!!!!i almost had to run!!!)
Liz even took me to the 9th forth..built for WWI to defend Kaunas, but sadly became first a Nazi prison were more than 50.000 people where killed, and after a soviet prison, and now a museum to not forget!!
And what a night life there. I’ve passed all the weekend there. And trust me it's a great place if you like clubbing!!
Still have to thank Erika and Liz for every moment together, from hot tea on the couch, the Champions League final, clubs and all. Really thanks!!
